PurrMSG lets organizations such as congregations, schools, scout troops, and community groups send announcements to their members by text message. Replies go to the sender rather than to everyone, and the group receives one aggregated summary instead of dozens of individual messages.
Members join by texting a short list code to their organization's number. Everything a member needs is available by text, including sending to a list, seeing who is on it, and leaving it.
PurrMSG never sends a message to a phone number that has not texted in first. There is no contact import, no bulk upload, and no administrator-initiated invitation.
Messages from members who are not list administrators are held for administrator approval before delivery.
