PurrMSG is a group messaging service operated by Connect and Conquer LLC. These terms govern the PurrMSG messaging program. By texting a list code to a PurrMSG number, you agree to these terms.
PurrMSG lets organizations such as congregations, schools, scout troops, and community groups send announcements to their members by text message. Each organization is assigned a phone number and one or more short list codes.
You join a list by texting its list code to the organization's PurrMSG number from your own phone. After you confirm, you receive announcements from that list. You can reply to announcements, and the service returns aggregated reply summaries to the group so that everyone sees response counts without receiving every individual reply.
PurrMSG never sends a message to a phone number that has not texted in first. There is no contact import, no bulk upload, and no administrator-initiated invitation.
Message frequency varies by organization and by list. A typical member receives approximately 15 to 30 messages per month. Recurring messages are sent at the discretion of the organization whose list you joined.
Message and data rates may apply. PurrMSG does not charge members for messages. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply to messages you send and receive. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
Reply HELP to any PurrMSG message for help. You can also email support@purrmsg.com or call (706) 901-7529.
Reply STOP to any PurrMSG message to stop all messages from that number. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages from that number. To resume, reply START.
To leave a single list without stopping all messages, text that list's code and choose the option to leave the list from the menu.
The program is available on major US wireless carriers. Carrier support may change without notice.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and network conditions outside the control of Connect and Conquer LLC.
Members and administrators are responsible for the content they send. Messages sent by members who are not list administrators are held for administrator approval before delivery. Connect and Conquer LLC may suspend or remove access for misuse, including harassment, unlawful content, or use of emergency messaging for non-urgent purposes.
Your use of PurrMSG is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
These terms may be updated. The effective date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict of law principles.
